JD Kucharik is a known multi-instrumentalist, who for the past 50+ years has acted as both a producer and a solo artist, playing each instrument and recording in real-time in his vintage studio. In the summer of 2025, JD reached out to some pro-session musicians & some friends he's worked with over the years. The expanded blues/rock style is what you'd expect from JD's writing and producing....... of course with the added influences and skill level of these pro-players, the sound seeks a whole new dimension of drive and passion.     (Hopefully), the lyric message complements the swampy, blues sound of track #2 "WISDOM MOMMA SAID"

  "Momma Said

don't you run around with all of those bad boys

   Momma Said

looks like you're headin out later tonight

   Momma Said

I hope that you will always remember

and just do what's right"

**I know that one day you'll find that someone

She'll build you right up and stand by your side

Treat her like a queen, and always remember

    What your momma said

    Cause momma don't lie

HURD ROAD???...... If you drive up Route 17B in Sullivan County NY, in the small town of Bethel, you'll find an unassuming country road on the right. On an August weekend in 1969, Hurd Road was an unmarked, dirt farm road that led to the Woodstock Festival. This sound-filled weekend became a somewhat pivotal point in the acceleration of Rock music for decades to come. Everyone knew Hendrix, The Who, Jefferson Airplane, Janis Joplin, etc.... but names like Santana, Joe Cocker, The Band, Johnny Winter, Mountain, became instantly super-stars. This immediate expansion of music continued rapid growth through the 70's and beyond. The HURD ROAD RHYTHM SECTION is a unpretentious attempt to create new, original music in tribute to the feel of musical growth of this expansive era in Rock music........ nothing more, nothing less.......
